Urban Communities Reclaiming Nature

Join us for our second seminar – this time on the topic of Greener Cities!

Info about event

Time

Thursday 11 May 2017,  at 15:00 - 18:00

Location

Moesgaard Museum, Room 4240-301 (Moesgård Allé 15, 8270 Højbjerg)

Our speakers will frame the idea of "Urban Communities Reclaiming Nature" from different perspectives, drawing together both academic and practical concerns!

This event is free and open to whoever would like to hear more about the various ways urban communities can and do initiate institutional and grassroots processes for greener and more sustainable life within urban environments, as well as about the symbolic use of nature that goes hand in hand with those practices.

Like all of the events of the Centre for Environmental Humanities, this seminar is also intended to be a networking opportunity, giving all students and academics with an interest in the interrelation of humans and the environment a space to meet up and discuss! A cosy atmosphere with refreshments and snacks will be provided as usual ;)
